In the context of these further investigations, a stationary working platform with a minimum useable surface of 200 m² shall be installed at the reef by means of pile foundation offshore Nienhagen. The telemetry pylon is not sufficient for the planned working spectrum. The LFA hopes to provide the working platform for a further scientific use beyond the project duration. There is a good prospect for a subsequent use by the university via the "Maritime Cluster" of scientific facilities and institutions.

By now, the LFA is willing to provide the reef as basis for scientific investigations. Whether diploma theses or joint research project - get in contact with the LFA.
